The Farmhouse has been elegantly restored and can accommodate up to 14 people in spacious and beautiful bedrooms, each full of character and charm. The doors and floors are of solid chestnut and oak and all bedrooms have exposed beams and thick stone walls. The Farmhouse is arranged over two levels and has plenty of space for large groups.
We have a double room with a traditional French sleigh bed and an adjoining twin bed annex. There are two further double rooms (including one king), one twin room and an extremely beautiful family room with another king-size sleigh bed, two single beds and en-suite bathroom. There are also two large shower rooms with fluffy white towels. All rooms have central heating and alcove windows with fantastic views across the gardens to the farmland beyond.
The original stone fireplace is the heart and soul of the Farmhouse kitchen and the wood-burning fire is the perfect way to end a long day’s sightseeing. The kitchen is fully fitted and well-appointed with an oven, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine and a large farmhouse table for those long evening meals by the fire. There is a TV, video and DVD player with a well-stocked DVD and video library. The house also has plenty of books, magazines and leaflets of local interest. Free WiFi internet is available.
All prices are in UK pounds and are for the property per week. (If you would like to pay in Euros or other currencies, we will provide prices at the latest exchange rate.)
All prices include towels, tea towels and quality bed linen with duvets and pillows. We also provide dishwasher tablets, toilet rolls, washing up liquid, washing powder and fabric conditioner.
Wood for the Farmhouse fire is provided and additional supplies are available for a small fee.
There is a small surcharge for central heating. This can be arranged when making your booking or we can organise this when you arrive at the property.
Our week runs from Saturday to Saturday although we can be flexible to fit your needs depending on existing bookings. In order for us to prepare the property, check in time is from 4pm. We kindly ask that you check out by 10am.
